Every revealed symbol becomes part of the puzzle in your head.

Cards begin face-down across the board. You reveal two at a time, compare their symbols and remember where each one appeared. Matching symbols remain visible, while unmatched cards return face-down and become information for the next attempt.

Four actions repeat until the archive is solved.

There is no countdown forcing the pace. The challenge comes from remembering which symbols have already appeared and where they were hidden.

  1. Survey

    Begin with a board of face-down cards whose symbols are completely hidden.

  2. Reveal

    Open two cards and study the symbols displayed beneath them.

  3. Compare

    Matching cards remain visible. Different symbols return face-down after the attempt.

  4. Complete

    Continue using your memory until every matching pair has been found.

Match logic

A correct pair stays. A wrong pair becomes a memory.

Each failed match still gives you useful information. Remembering the position of both symbols allows later reveals to become more deliberate instead of random.

The archive expands as your memory improves.

Later stages increase grid size and symbol complexity, giving you more positions to track at the same time.

Is there a time limit for each level?

No. Crimson Archive does not use a level timer, allowing you to focus on matching symbols at your own pace.

Can Crimson Archive be played offline?

Yes. Once downloaded, the main game can be played without requiring an internet connection.

How many levels are available?

Crimson Archive uses an infinite progression structure with generated grids that become larger and more complex as you continue.
